Vision Statement
The International Christian Medical Institute has a vision in which all East Africans, through the Grace of God and regardless of tribe, religion, social class or economic status, benefit from a health administration system that consistently demonstrates a model of excellence. Furthermore, that development education for health administration within Uganda shall be sustained and run by Ugandans through an education program focused on teaching the required skills and knowledge at recognized diploma and degree levels.
Mission Statement
The Mission of ICMI is to answer God’s call that we help one another by:
Promoting education in the field of health administration in East Africa and Uganda in particular;
Working in partnership with Ugandans to support and provide an accredited health administration program of the highest calibre;
Seeking a diverse education program that provides access to health administration knowledge and skills to the maximum number of individuals seeking to benefit from the program;
Working in partnership with Ugandan health workers to provide Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Nurses’ Education in order to keep the skills of these health professionals up to date;
Seeking out the support and participation of those within Canada who share ICMI’s vision and who would offer their skills and/or financial support to realize that vision.
