PROGRAMME GOALS AND OBJECTIVES


The Bachelor of Administrative Studies (BAS) degree is designed to teach individuals, who want to pursue a career in health administration, the theory and practice of management in a challenging, interdisciplinary programme. While many of the courses in the programme will focus on management, these will be supplemented by courses in related disciplines.


The Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree programme is an academically rigorous programme that will be of interest and benefit to qualified individuals who expect to be a manager or an administrator.


The programme is designed to teach people, working in the health sector, how to manage the scarce human and physical resources that are available. All Ugandans will benefit from this programme which teaches people how to improve the quality and delivery of health services.

Three three-week semesters per year for three years.
