CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISING 2009
A Walk to Bethlehem and A Child's Christmas in Wales A Walk to Bethlehem The church was decorated for the season as guests arrived inside from the cold. There was a peaceful quiet as the opening instrumental filled the air. The men's choir sat ready as the small group of singers commenced the journey. The re-telling of the Christmas story included original poetry and prose intermingled with music and song. By the end of the evening guests had been enthralled by the men's choir, solos and a lively grand finale. Refreshments and fellowship followed, it was a moving evening! Saint George's church graciously contributed the proceeds to further the work of ICMI in Uganda. ![]() ![]() A Child's Christmas in Wales This Christmas celebration was held at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club which was a perfect venue.
