Dr. Edward Mukooza, Principal of ICMI Uganda, will be coming to Canada in September and October 2010. Edward has a long history with ICMI. He was the top student in the 1995 graduating class. He was trained as a Teaching Assistant and then became a Course Director. Edward was named ICMI Programme Coordinator in 1998. In February 2007, Dr. Mukooza was promoted to Vice Principal and then to Principal in 2008.
During his time in Victoria, Edward will be staying at the home of Dr. Carl Garry and Loraine Spencer Garry. Plans are underway to have him meet with ICMI members and to speak at two churches. Edward will attend the ICMI Annual General Meeting scheduled to
be held in September. On his return journey home to Uganda, Edward will stop over in Ontario where he will be the guest of Rev. Eugene and Dianne Berlenbach. Plans are being made for Edward to speak at the local Community
College in Peterborough and to the local Anglican church.
